Born in New York City into a family of artists, Diane Attebury was at her dad’s drawing board drawing horses at age three. As a young teen she studied watercolor at Purchase and New Paltz where she studied with Robert Beauchamp and received her BFA.

Stacie Flint
Born in Long Island, NY, Flint studied at the State University of New York colleges at New Paltz, and Empire State. Flint feels a stylistic connection with her German Expressionist painter mother-in-law Daisy Davidow. Similar qualities of color intensity and primal energy work along with Flint’s penetrating narrative playfulness. Other influences include Matisse, David Hockney, and Alice Neel. Flint currently lives in the mid-Hudson Valley in New Paltz, NY.

Dana Rose Lee is a portrait photographer specializing in children and pets. She also photographs Universal Studio’s outdoor movie campaigns and is a contributing photographer with Glasshouse Images, a small boutique stock photography agency.

Leslie Enders Lee
Leslie Enders Lee received a bachelor’s degree in art history from Wellesley College. Proficient in a variety of media, her work has been shown in group and solo exhibitions throughout the country. Lee’s work was included in the anniversary exhibition at the Drawing Center, NYC, and the Invitational Florence Biennale (curators John Spike and Barbara Rose). Her sculptural exhibition, Horseplay, travelled to museums in Florida, Ohio and South Carolina. Her Madame Butterfly series, created to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Puccini’s opera, is in the permanent collection of the New York Public Library and the Scripps Library. Ms. Lee lived and worked in New York City and Pawling, New York.

C. C. Long
C.C. (Charles) Long is a self-taught painter, who has painted for 25 years and been in over 50 one man and group shows worldwide. His mercurial work begins with the creating of an abstract background using mixed media, collage and found accoutrement creating a chaos, from this chaos he works outward slowly drawing out an image until it is fully expressed. He has worked with images ranging from Stonehenge, fish, seahorses, cups, butterflies, still life’s and angels. He was described in Time Out magazine in London as “cunningly expressive”. He has had a home in Pawling for fifteen years.

Alice McAdams
A local resident, owning a 100-acre farm on Quaker Hill, Alice studied for many years with Frank Vincent Dumond (1865 – 1951) at the Art Students League in New York City. Alice won the Hudson Valley Arts Association Purchase Award, and has many pieces of her artwork in private collections.

Arlene Nadel is a painter who has resided on Quaker Hill in Pawling for the past six years. She specializes in portraits of people and animals. Arlene loves the scenery and landscapes of the Pawling area.

Mary Smoot Souter
Mary was inspired by a unique canine breed. Hence, the painting “Tucker” was created. This painting was sought out by Gallery on the Green for the exhibition, “Dog Days”. “Tucker” depicts a brilliant, black and white Border-Collie. Mary Smoot-Souter is a fine art oil painter whose work reflects a combination of traditional and impressionistic realism. Recently Mary’s work was on view at Sotheby’s in New York, Mark Twain Library, Connecticut and Mill Street Loft in Poughkeepsie, New York.

Adele Targonski
Adele Targonski studied painting and drawing at the Art Students League in Manhattan. She worked for many years in the retail display industry in New York City and is a children’s book designer. She has also had a career in art education. Adele is a graduate of Empire State University and lives and paints in Pawling.
